Liverpool are set to bolster their backroom staff with the appointment of a second goalkeeping coach. John Achterberg's been in charge of keepers since 2009 but it's understood he's about to get some help from Jack Robinson who works with England's youth teams
The standard of Liverpool's goalkeepers has been an area of concern in recent years, with Achterberg bearing the brunt of criticism when the likes of Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius made mistakes, until the ÂŁ65million signing of Alisson Becker this summer.
Robinson, should his appointment be confirmed, previously spent seven years at Manchester United, as well as Crystal Palace and Leeds and was part of England Under-17s' World Cup win last year.
He be charged with developing youngsters Kamil Grabara and Caoimhin Kelleher, who have joined the first-team set-up at Melwood.
