Radio City is taking a stand against knife crime on Merseyside - we're launching our 'No More Knives campaign'.

After Sam Cook’s death in Liverpool, and Adam Ellison’s fatal stabbing in Prescot, just two weeks later - we’re calling for an end to blades on the streets of our city.

We’ve teamed up with MMA fighter Paul Bentley, who says we’ve all got to come together to tackle it.

Paul said: "We're all talking about it, the whole city is chatting about these knives, these kids playing out of order, but absolutely nothing is being done"

"These young lads nowadays, pride themselves in walking around with knives, but I don't understand the pride in that"

"It's never been known as a good thing. Who's ever walked around with a knife and someone's said well done?"

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be working with the likes of the police and Liverpool Council to get the message out in schools and on the streets.

Use the hashtag #NoMoreKnives on Twitter to support the campaign.
