£10,000 of fake designer goods seized in Wirral

A man has been arrested after counterfeit designer goods worth in excess of £10,000 was seized in Wirral yesterday evening, Monday 29th January.
At around 9pm, Merseyside Police were called to Twelve Quays terminal in Birkenhead after Ports Police officers had stopped and searched a white van which was carrying a large quantity of counterfeit goods.
The haul included imitation Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton trainers, Gucci and Channel handbags, Rolex watches and air pods.
The white van has also been seized.
A 32-year-old man from Dublin was arrested on suspicion of fraud and being in possession of counterfeit designer goods worth over £10,000. He is still in police custody to be questioned.
