Police shut city centre street after reports of burglary

Emergency services have been at the scene since around 10am

Emergency services are at the scene of a suspected burglary in Liverpool City Centre.

Police say at around 10.15am it was also reported that an alarm was activated and there was fire inside a building on Dale Street.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended and found no sign of a fire in the building.

Road closures were in place but have now been lifted.

Officers remain at the scene to carry out enquires.
