Police Probe Dovecot Shooting
House damaged in shooting

Merseyside Police is investigating after a house was shot at in Hadyn Road, Dovecot last night.
Residents reported hearing loud bangs shortly after 8pm and officers discovered damage to the window of the property.
Enquiries have established that a number of people on push bikes were outside the house at the time of the shooting and may have been responsible.
The suspects rode off in the direction of Finch Lane afterwards.
Patrols searched the surrounding area and detectives carried out house to house and CCTV enquiries.
The house was unoccupied at the time and no-one was injured.
The shooting is being treated as a targeted attack at this time.
