Detectives investigating an incident in Runcorn are appealing for information from members of the public.

Between 4pm and 4.20pm on Friday 18 June a disturbance involving a man and a woman occurred outside an address on Masseyfield Road.

The man then got inside the passenger side of a black Audi that was being driven by a woman.

A group of men, wearing balaclavas and armed with knives and machetes, surrounded the car causing damage to the windows.
