Police hunt for driver after Garston crash
Police are hunting for a driver who left the scene of an accident in Garston last night.
Police are trying to trace a driver who fled the scene of an accident in Garston last night - leaving another motorist with a broken leg.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Church Road and Speke Road at 9.37pm last night to reports of a Nissan Qashqai and Ford Fiesta colliding.
The driver of the Fiesta suffered a suspected broken leg and a shoulder injury while two pedestrians were also left with minor injuries.
A set of traffic lights ended up lodged into the shutters of a nearby shop due to the impact of the collision.
The driver of the Nissan fled the scene and efforts are now underway to try and trace him.
