Police appeal over St Johns 'sex assaults'

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to, after two alleged sexual assaults in St Johns Shopping Centre

Detectives have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following allegations of two sexual assaults in Liverpool city centre.

The offences occurred at around 4pm on Wednesday 18 January 2017 in St Johns Shopping Centre.

A 16-year-old girl was approached by a man who sexually assaulted her, shortly before a 45-year-old woman was also sexually assaulted by a man.

The girl and woman were not injured but were left distressed by their ordeal.

Merseyside Police has issued an image of man who they believe could help them with their enquiries.
