A 19 year-old male was walking down the street - between Primark and Marks and Spencer - at around 4.10am.

He stopped to speak to a group of girls, when two men walked past and allegedly made a comment about one of the girls in the group.

The 19 year-old was hospitalised with serious injuries to his head and face

The two males are described as around 20 years of age, and both 6ft tall. One had long brown hair and was wearing a white shirt, while the second man was wearing dark clothing.
