Police appeal over Albert Dock attack
CCTV images have been issued by police investigating an assault at Liverpool's Albert Dock.
Detectives investigating a serious assault outside a bar in Liverpool city centre have released CCTV of several people they wish to trace.
Officers believe the people featured may have witnessed the large-scale fight in which a man suffered permanent damage to his eye.
The incident happened outside Circo bar at the Albert Dock on Saturday, 20 December 2015 at around 1.10am.
Two men became involved in a verbal altercation which escalated into a fight involving friends of both men.
It is believed that the man who suffered an eye injury was attacked from behind while he was intervening in the assault of his friend.
Detectives from Liverpool CID have carried out extensive CCTV enquiries from the area and are keen to identify and speak to all of the people in the CCTV as they may have information that could help progress the police investigation.
