Parents Appeal After Teenager Dies At Nightclub
The parents of a teenager who died after being taken ill at a Liverpool nighclub are urging anyone who knows about his death to come forward.
Nineteen year old apprentice engineer John Milburn from Crosby passed away in an ambulance after emergency services were called to Nation in the early hours of Sunday morning.
His dad Graham is demanding answers:" He went to a party that night and never came home. I want to know who gave my son whatever he had.
He wasn't a drug user. He didn't leave the house with what ended up in his body"
The results of a post mortem examination carried out yesterday have been witheld pending toxicology reports.
A 47-year-old man who fell ill at the same venue remains in a stable but critical condition in hospital.
Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the unexplained death are continuing.
"Our message is clear, it is not only illegal to buy and sell drugs but it can also be very dangerous and potentially fatal. We would urge people not to be tempted to take illegal drugs - you don't know what they are made of, where they have come from or what effects they may have on you."
