Former Merseyside Chief Constable Norman Bettison is releasing a book he's written about the Hillsborough disaster.
Former Merseyside Chief Constable Norman Bettison is releasing a book he's written about the Hillsborough disaster.
He was at the ground as a supporter during the 1989 tragedy whilst serving as a Chief Inspector with South Yorkshire Police.
Bettison will claim in the book he has been "unfairly scapegoated" during the inquiry.
He remains under investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission for his role in the aftermath of the disaster.
All proceeds from the book will go to charity.
