Man wanted in connection with Ormskirk murder, is found in Greece

After 16 months of searching, Police have confirmed they have found a man they want to speak to in connection with the murder of teenager Matthew Daulby in Ormskirk.

2\1 year old Thomas Dures was found in Greece.

1\9 year old Matthew was stabbed to death when a mass brawl broke out on Railway Road in Ormskirk, in July 2023.

Another 19 year old, Henry Houghton, was jailed for life for his murder, but Police also wanted to speak to Thomas Dures, who they believed had fled the country.

After numerous appeals and an offer of a reward of £20,000 for information, he was arrested in Athens yesterday, and appeared in court in Greece this morning.
