Man rushed to hospital in critical condition after incident at industrial site in Wavertree

Emergency services are at the scene of an incident in Wavertree.

Reports emerged on social media saying the air ambulance has been on site and evacuated a man to hospital after he was involved in an accident with a forklift truck.

Merseyside Police have given us this statement

"Merseyside Police can confirm officers are in attendance in Wavertree

Emergency services were called to an industrial premises on Picton Road at around 11.05am, to reports a man had been injured at the site.

The man has been taken to hospital by ambulance. At this time his condition is thought to be critical."
