Man rushed to hospital after car flips on M62
The motorway was shut for several hours on this morning (31 October)
A man has been rushed to hospital after his car flipped over the M62, leading to long delays on the motorway.
Emergency services were called to a section of the road between J12 (Eccles Interchange) and J11 (Birchwood) at around 02:30GMT on Friday morning (31 October).
The 19-year-old driver was the only person involved in the collision and was found with serious injuries.
Two lanes of the motorway remained closed at lunchtime as National Highways carried out emergency repairs.
