Man in hospital after Wavertree 'brawl'
A man's in hospital with a head injury after a 'brawl' this afternoon in Wavertree.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Wavertree today, Tuesday 23 August.
Officers were called to the junction of Earle Road and Webster Road at 12.30pm to reports a man had been assaulted.
He has been taken to hospital with a head injury which is not thought to be life threatening.
An investigation has been launched and CCTV and house to house enquiries are being carried out in the local area.
