A man's died after a hit and run in Walton.
A man's died after a hit and run in Walton.
It happened on Richard Kelly Road at about nine o'clock last night (Friday 18th December 2015).
In a statement, Merseyside Police has said:
"A male pedestrian, believed to be in his 50s, died following a collision with an unknown vehicle which failed to stop ...
"Extensive enquiries are now being made by officers from the force’s roads policing unit to trace the vehicle and its driver.
"At this stage enquiries are ongoing to identity the pedestrian and trace next of kin.
"Anyone with information is urged to call 101 and ask for the RPU’s collision investigation team or contact the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111."
