Man dies after falling from building in Liverpool city centre

Police were called to Hurst Street on Friday evening

Police have confirmed that a man has sadly died after he fell from a building in Liverpool city centre last night, Friday 26 April.

Emergency services, including Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and North West Ambulance Service, were called to the incident at an apartment building on Hurst Street at around 9.20pm.

A 57-year-old man was located at the scene with significant injuries and despite receiving treatment he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and his next of kin have been informed.
