Man charged following Wirral stabbing

A man's been charged, after a 35 year old man was stabbed on the Wirral.
Merseyside Police were called to an address on Colbert Close at around 1.30am yesterday (Sunday 30 January), to reports that a man had been stabbed in the neck.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 32-year-old man was arrested by police a short distance away from the scene.
Mirco Gerlach, aged 32, of Colbert Close, Wirral has been charged with Section 18 Wounding.
Police say he has been remanded in custody and will appear in court this morning, Monday 31 January.
