Man arrested over shooting in Bootle

It's after a house was shot at on Sunday evening

Detectives investigating after shots were fired at a house in Bootle have now made an arrest.

Officers were called to an address on Westminster Avenue at around 7.15pm on Sunday (20th February) where they found damage to the window of a house consistent with a shot being fired. No injuries were reported.

A warrant was executed this morning and a 27 year-old man from Crosby was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He's now in custody where he will be interviewed by detectives.
