A man's been arrested on suspicion of driving offences after a car crashed through the wall of a house in Birkenhead
At about 4.55pm, a green Renault Megane car travelling at speed came to the attention of a police patrol on Brassey Street.
The patrol vehicle indicated for the vehicle to stop, however it failed and made off at speed. A short time later the vehicle was discovered to have been in a collision on Norman Street and landed on its side.
A stationary red Range Rover vehicle was also damaged during the collision.
A 21 year-old male from the Birkenhead area has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and having no insurance.
He's currently being interviewed by officer
