Man, 19, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after stabbing outside Liverpool Gym
A 19 year old man is being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing outside a Liverpool gym
Merseyside Police patrols were called to the car park of Pure Gym on Sefton Street in the Brunswick area of the city at 10.55pm by a member of the public reporting that a man was lying on the ground bleeding heavily.
A 24-year-old man from Toxteth was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent.
Both men have been taken to police stations for questioning.
On arrival officers established that the victim - who is aged in his 20s - had suffered a serious facial wound as well as an injury to his buttocks. He remains in a critical but stable condition.
