The M62 is reopen this morning after an accident invoving two lorries caused major disruption during last night's rush hour.
A HGV overturned causing scrap metal which it had been carrying to spill out onto the carriageway.
Police say there no one was hurt.
Around midday on Monday they blocked two lanes to divert traffic away from Queens Drive.
A clean up operation carried on throughout the night and finished roughly around 4.00am on Tuesday morning.
