Published 1st Feb 2016

The parents of 20 year old Luke Murphy who's body was found on the beach at New Brighton say his death has left a great void in their lives.

The young man from Wallasey was found by emergency service at Fort Perch Rock on the 22nd of January.

"Luke was the son, brother, grandson and friend anyone would be proud of having. His charismatic, mischievous and loving behaviour made him the boy we all know and love. There would never be a dull day with Luke around due to his well thought out pranks and practical jokes.

His parents said:

"Over the 20 years of his life, Luke brought us love, tears and laughter - and this is how we shall remember him. From his close friends who were with Luke during once in a lifetime experiences, to his niece who loves and misses him every single day, Luke has created a void in our lives which can never be refilled.

"His family and friends now hope he has found peace with himself and would like to thank everyone for their generosity and support during this difficult time."
