Protests due to be staged in Liverpool over Trump state visit
'Stop Trump' coalition will hold rally on Bold Street, as parliament debates Donald Trump's state visit to the UK

A demonstration's taking place in Liverpool, over Donald Trump's proposed state visit.
It comes after an online petition titled 'Prevent Donald Trump from making a State Visit to the United Kingdom' received 1.85 million signatures, well over the 100,000 required for parliament to debate it.
Campaigners will gather in Parliament Square while the debate is taking place, and will hold further rallies in many cities across the UK.
Similar protests were held in Liverpool last month, after president Trump announced his travel ban
Protesters will gather on Bold Street at 6 pm, and will march until 8 pm.
