Liverpool FC will have a second attempt to apply for permission to hold more events at Anfield outside the football calender

The club will go before Liverpool Council's Planning Committee again over their proposals to hold up to 10 music concerts and other events during the year,

Liverpool say the events would occur following the end of the football season and could take place over a 6 week period running from May until the end of June

Last week Councillors rejected an application by the club to hold other major sport events, like American Football, after concerns were raised by residents over noise and traffic.
