Neil Bradley died in hospital after he crashed into a wall on Saturday
Tributes have been paid to a man who died after a fatal crash as he came home from a Liverpool FC match.
Neil Bradley, who was 59, died after his car crashed into a wall and a lampost on Lister Drive in Fairfield shortly after 10:15pm on Saturday (November 9th).
It is believed that no other cars had been involved in the incident, according to Merseyside Police.
Following on from his death, the family of Neil, who was originally from Liverpool but was now living in Oldham, described him as someone who wanted to live life to the fullest.
In a statement released by Merseyside Police, they said: "Neil had an insatiable thirst for life and often enjoyed running, trainspotting, listening to rock music and supporting his boyhood club Liverpool.
“He was a ray of sunshine and could light up any room with his jokes. A loving father, son, brother, husband and friend to many. He will be missed dearly."
Speaking amid the ongoing investigation, Detective Sergeant Andy Roper from the force said that officers were working with Neil's family as they process their grief.
"We are continuing to investigate the collision and the events leading up to it," Roper explained.

"I would like to appeal anyone who may recall seeing a red Ford Focus in the area at the time to please contact our officers.
"Any piece of information, no matter how small or insignificant it may appear, could assist us in providing answers for Neil’s family."
