Liverpool, Everton and Tranmere will join forces with clubs and players across the country this weekend to show they've had enough of racism in football
They're boycotting social media across the bank holiday weekend in a united front
This week Blackpool player Grant Ward became the latest player to be targeted on Instagram after their one nil victory over Sunderland - sparking calls for social media companies to do more to tackle abuse.
Paul Kearns is Deputy CEO of Show Racism the Red Card, they're backing the move :
"I think it sends a really, really strong message that it's a collective effort right across the game of football.
"From the top levels of football, to governing bodies, league manager's association, player's union and across the women's game as well. It send s a really powerful message from right across the world.
"It has a huge potential to make a difference and for someone like Jordan Henderson to stand up and say taking a stand is no longer optional is exactly where we are and something has to be done".
