Increase in cost of living 'could cost lives' in Liverpool
December saw that fastest rise in inflation in three decades

There are warnings that a huge increase in the cost of living is going to cost lives in some of Liverpool's poorest communities.
Inflation's reached its highest level in almost three decades leaving more of us feeling the pinch; it hit five point four percent in December.
That means we're paying more for things like clothes, food and fuel.
Gerard Woodhouse runs the L6 Community Centre in Everton, he says it's going to have severe consequences for some of the people they support :
"We're going to find probably an old person dead in the chair because they haven't been able to put the heating on.
"We see it each day in stories across the country, how some children are living. It will be the cause of people dying.
"Am I going to be able to keep my heating on? No. We'll have to look at when we can put it on and when we have to turn it off. We don't get funding for our running costs. It's going to have a knock on effect not only to people but the services they use as well".
