House shot at in Huyton
Police are investigating after a shooting in Page Moss Avenue, Huyton late on Thursday night.
An investigation is underway after a house was shot at in Page Moss Avenue on Thursday night.
Damage was caused to the front of the property after several shots were fired at around 11pm while the homeowners were in bed.
Police attended and confirmed the damage was consistent with a firearms discharge. The man and woman who were inside at the time were not injured but have been left shaken.
The house has been cordoned off for forensic examination and detectives from the force’s Matrix Serious Organised Crime Unit are leading an investigation.
Neighbourhood patrols have been stepped up in the area to provide reassurance to local residents. A motorbike was seen in the area and detectives are keen to speak to two males on the bike as they believed they have may have witnessed the incident.
