Futher arrest over murder of 16 year old Lewis Dunne in Liverpool

A man from Walton's being questioned on suspicion of the murder of 16 year old Lewis Dunne - who was shot in Eldonian Village late last year.

A man from Walton's being questioned on suspicion of the murder of 16 year old Lewis Dunne - who was shot in Eldonian Village late last year.

The teenager was found by members of the public on the 15th of November with gunshot wounds on a canal towpath. He was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

A post mortem revealed he'd been shot in the back.

Police say a 25 year old from Walton has been arrested in connection with his death and is being interviewed by detectives..

Two other men, aged 21 years from Kirkdale, and 25 years from Birkenhead, who were arrested yesterday, are still being questioned by detectives.

Four others have been bailed pending further enquires.
