It's been twelve months since Finn McEwen received a life saving bone marrow transplant.

Last year we met seven-year-old Finn from Litherland who suffered from a rare bone marrow disease and was in desperate need for a donor.

The #FindFinnAMatch campaign was launched to encourage people to sign up to the donor register and hopefully find a suitable match. After hearing his story, Radio City got behind the campaign and held a donor drive at the top of the tower.

Hundreds of people visited the tower and signed up to the bone marrow register in a hope to find Finn a match and offer their support.

Last May Finn's family received amazing news when a good match was discovered and Finn was taken to hospital to prepare for the transplant.

Since Finn's appeal more than 84,000 people have signed up to the bone marrow register.
