The family of Brandon Regan have issued paid tribute as Police reissue an appeal for information in relation to his murder:
"Brandon is the life and soul of our family. He is so funny. Always has us laughing. We miss his personality, his quick wit. He loves his hair and always had it in perfect condition.
"Brandon is a son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Our family is completely broken by this.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank the community, which has been amazing. Hundreds attended his peaceful ride out and also the vigil to release balloons in honour of his memory.
"Brandon’s loved by everyone who knows him and this is proven by his memorial/shrine outside his Mum’s house.
"Those who have helped with information we thank. We also ask others who have information to please step forward and bring these disgusting animals to justice. Speke will be a much better and safer place with these people off the streets.
"We need to get the individuals responsible, off the streets, as they could do this to someone else's son and we would never want anyone to feel the pain that we are going through. It's an unbearable pain. They've ripped a hole in our hearts that will never heal.
"This could have happened to anyone's child. Do not let this happen again.
"Please help us get justice for Brandon."
