EasyJet Flight Makes Emergency Landing

An easyJet flight from Liverpool was forced to make an emergency landing on Friday morning. The flight which was on its way from John Lennon Airport to Barcelona declared an emergency just before 8am and it was diverted to Paris. It was later confirmed the situation was a medical emergency involving someone on board. The person involved is to receive medical treatment in France and the plane will continue its journey to Spain. An easyJet spokesperson has told us: “easyJet can confirm that flight EZY 7203 from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Barcelona on 24th July diverted to Paris Charles de Gaulle as a result of a passenger requiring urgent medical assistance.

“The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority and the flight will continue to Barcelona once the passenger has been met by paramedics.

“We apologise for any inconvenience experienced due to the diversion and resulting delay.”
