Double fatality in Wirral house fire
A man and woman have died following a house fire in West Kirby.
A man and woman have died following a house fire in West Kirby on the Wirral.
Firefighters were called to Boulton Avenue around 1.24am on Monday, March 21. Fire engines from Upton Community Fire Station, Kirkdale Community Fire Station and Kensington Community Fire Station attended the incident. A man was pronounced dead at the scene and a woman was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital.She was also later confirmed deceased. Next of kin have been informed.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
