Dog attack in Toxteth

A woman's been bitten on the arm

Merseyside Police were called to Cedar grove in Toxteth this morning (Tuesday 25 May), to reports of two dogs fighting.

When they arrived at the address at around 9am, they found a woman had been bitten on the arm.

Emergency services have described the woman’s injury as 'non-life threatening', and say it will be assessed.

Road closures remain in place while officers deal with the incident and members of the public are advised to avoid the area.
