"Design a Jump" Competition Launch

This morning, Liverpool International Horse Show launched their "Design a Jump" schools competition, ahead of their three day event in January.

Students at St Vincent de Paul School were given a special assembly by the Liverpool International Horse Show team. Promoter, Nina Barbour, who is also managing director of the Bolesworth Estate spoke to the children about horse riding, show jumping and the exciting plans for the New Year event.

After the assembly, the children met some very important guests on the playground, including Olympic show jumper Geoff Billington...

The "Design a Jump" competition is open to all primary school pupils in Liverpool, with the winner having their design transformed into a real fence in the Echo Arena.

The Liverpool International Horse Show is on at the Echo Arena, January 1-3.
