An investigation's underway after an elderly man and his daughter were found dead inside a house in Crosby.
Emergency services were called to an address on College Road just after 4pm Sunday, 15 May 2016 to a concern for safety for the two occupants at the address, who had not been seen for a number of days.
Access was gained to the property and the bodies of an 85-year-old man and his 47-year-old daughter have been found inside the property.
Police say the investigation is in its early stages and both deaths are being treated as unexplained.
At this stage there is nothing to indicate that the deaths are suspicious, however post mortems will be carried out to find the cause of death for both of the deceased. Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service are also assisting with the investigation.
