Road traffic collision in Birkenhead
Emergency services were called to Birkenhead following a serious RTC yesterday afternoon, Saturday, 25 December 2021.
At around 12.45pm, police were called to Hoylake Road, Birkenhead to reports of a collision involving an unknown vehicle and a scrambler bike rider.
The teenage male rider was removed via air ambulance and has been taken to hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries to his leg. He is in a serious but stable condition.
The driver failed to stop at the scene and an investigation is underway.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, cctv and dash camera footage which may assist the investigation.
