Driver dies in M6 lorry crash

A lorry driver has died after a crash on the M6 involving three HGVs.

It happened on the southbound carriageway between junction 20, Lymm Interchange and junction 19, Knutsford shortly before 12.40pm yesterday (Thursday 8 July)

Three other people received what are believed to be minor injuries.

Both carriageways were shut to assist emergency services, but have since reopened.
