The details for Cilla Black's funeral on Thursday have been revealed
The details for Cilla Black's funeral on Thursday have been revealed.
Cilla Black's cortege will begin from Woolton Road, Wavertree at the junction between Church Road North to Blackwood Avenue, Gateacre.
The procession will then continue to St Mary's Church, for the funeral, which starts at 1pm.
Members of the public who wish to pay their respects have been asked to line the two mile route rather than travelling to Woolton village due to the secluded nature of the church.
A number of road closures and restrictions will be in place during the funeral;
· Church Road closed to general traffic between Allerton Road and Ridgetor Road
· Mason Street closed from Woolton Street to Church Road
· Mount Street and St Mary’s Street closed to general traffic
· All the above roads will also be subject to parking restrictions
· It may also be necessary to close a section of Allerton Road between Woolton Street and Quarry Street
