Charity set up in name of Southport attack victim Elsie Dot Stancombe
The seven-year-old was killed in the attack in July
The family of a seven-year-old girl killed in the Southport attack have set up a charity in her name.
Elsie's Story, named after Elsie Dot Stancombe, will continue her "positivity, love for others and energy for life" by offering grants to young people and organisations on Merseyside.
In a post on Instagram, her parents said: "The Trust has been established with the principle objective being to make grants to causes in Elsie's name, the focus of while will be assistance to young people and support for others in the community and across the region."
It will include help for "community projects, medical care and support for individuals and families".
Elsie Dot was killed alongside nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar and six-year-old Bebe King at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class on 29 July.
