It's after staff at Leasowe Off-licence were racially abused by a customer following an argument over buying alcohol. The 27-year-old male victim was racially abused and threatened by a man who then left the store when police were called. Detective Constable Bob Murray said, "This was a completely unprovoked verbal attack on a man who was just trying to do his job.

"I'm sure the public would agree, this type of behaviour is clearly unacceptable and I would appeal to anyone who has any information about this incident, or anyone who recognises the man pictured to get in contact, so we can take action."
