Cammell Laird shipyard workers vote over industrial action
The Unite Union say they have fears 40% of staff could be cut

Shipyard workers on Merseyside will start voting on Monday on whether to launch a campaign of industrial action to fight planned job losses.
Unions say job cuts at the Cammell Laird yard in Birkenhead are "totally unnecessary'' because of a recent contract to maintain Royal Fleet Auxiliary ships.
Ross Quinn, of Unite, said: "The mid to long term future of the shipyard is bright.''
The industrial action ballot closes on November 9
