Plans to cut number of vaccines coming to North West is 'compliment' for a job well done
Liverpool's Director of Public Health says it's testament to the speed they've been able to give out the jabs

Liverpool's Director of Public Health has told us any decision to cut the number of vaccines coming to the North West is testament to the speed they've been able to give out the jabs.
It follows reports that supplies of the Covid 19 vaccine will be reduced by around a third come the middle of February.
It's so other areas can increase the rate they are vaccinating their priority groups
Matt Ashton says he doesn't want it to slow things down too much here :
"The vaccine supply is still growing in the country and there are other areas that are performing less well but that's a compliment I suppose to us because we are doing everything we can to get it out there but I want us to keep pushing and get as much of the vaccine as we can out there.
"This is the largest rollout of a vaccine in the shortest time period in the history of man so it doesn't come without its challenges; we have to make sure supply is getting to the right areas and then delivery - we have to make sure we can offer the vaccine to the right people in the right place."
