Amazon have been asked to remove Hillsborough branded clothing from it's Website after calls for them to be taken down.
Women's underwear with the '96' and 'Keep Calm and Truth and Justice' were being sold online.
In a statement - Amazon said: "All Marketplace sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who don’t will be subject to action including potential removal of their account. The products in question are no longer available.”
Walton MP Steve Rotheram has given his reaction to the news.
He said: "It's fairly unbelievable really when you think it's such a pretty despicable reprehensible act of someone to cash in on the death of 96 people, and I'm glad to see Amazon have seen a bit of sense by taken some of the goods down but I'd like to see everything that they put up for sale being withdrawn."
"It's unacceptable if it's in regards to another tragedy as well. Hillsborough was the biggest sporting disaster in British History and for anybody trying to cash in, in this way, it leaves a sour taste in the mouth."
Amy and Claire McGlone lost their Dad Alan in the disaster. They told us they find it disgusting that Amazon would sell products like this..
