18 arrested in Merseyside drugs raids
Merseyside Police carried out dawn raids at 13 addresses in Liverpool and Wirral this morning
Police have raided 13 addresses across Liverpool and the Wirral this morning in a major crackdown on drug dealers.
11 people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs, firearms and money laundering offences after warrants were executed in Norris Green, Fazakerley, Walton, Anfield and Moreton.
The arrests are the culmination of a 12-month operation targeting the supply of controlled drugs in Anfield, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire and Devon and Cornwall. Searches of these addresses are ongoing.
