14-year-old boy attacked with bladed weapon in Liverpool

A 14-year-old boy is in hospital with serious head injuries after being attacked by a group of men with a bladed weapon in Liverpool.

It is believed the teenager was walking along Lodge Lane, near to the junction with Coltart Street, when the attack happened.

He is currently in hospital with serious injuries, but is in a stable condition.

Police are now searching for the group of men, who were seen fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

Anyone with information or CCTV footage is asked to contact Merseyside Police.
