Kylie has released a new song which is the title track to 'Absolutely Anything' due out next week starring Simon Pegg and Kate Beckinsale.
The pop princess, Kylie Minogue is back with a surprise song release to accompany the upcoming film 'Absolutely Anything'.
'Absolutely Anything' is a British comedy/science fiction film and has been written and directed by Terry Jones (Monty Python).
The film has an all star cast including Simon Pegg, Kate Beckinsale, Eddie Izzard, Joanna Lumley and the voices the Monty Python members and the late Robin Williams.
Kylie has recorded the title track to the film and posted the artwork for her new single 'Absolutely Anything and Anything At All' on Instagram saying, "I recorded a song for the movie, #AbsolutelyAnything ... Gee, my band look a lot different to last time I saw them....".
Kylie said of recording the track, "Growing up in Australia, Monty Python thrilled, baffled and entertained my entire family. I’m such a fan. So, to record the theme song for (Python) Terry Jones’s ‘Absolutely Anything’ was a great honour."
The video which has been released sees Kylie dancing with aliens from the film (voiced by The Pythons). The aliens are in their jellyfish-shaped spaceship miles away from the Earth when they see Kylie on screen bopping around with her hair in a high ponytail swinging it around like she did back in the 80s.
They then decide to "take a closer look" and teleport the pint-sized popstar to their spaceship where she continues to sing surrounded by stardust while the aliens grab some instruments and play along.
'Absolutely Anything' is released next Friday (14th August) and you can watch the trailer below.
