Prince William and Kate Middleton Meet Jay-Z and Beyoncé in New York
They both attend a basketball match
On the latest leg of their Royal tour of America, last night Prince William and Kate Middleton hit the Barclays Center in New York to watch a basketball match between Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers.
As luck would have it, a fellow superstar couple were also in attendance – bona-fide music royalty Jay-Z and Beyoncé!
Between the third and fourth quarters of the game, the two couples met up for a chat courtside as the 17,000 capacity crowd reached for their phones and ipads in unison to take photos.
After exchanging pleasantries and having a chinwag, all four took to their seats to witness LeBron 'King' James carrying the Cleveland Cavaliers to victory.
Shortly before the game, Kate and Wills met up with NBA (National Basketball Association) commissioner Adam Silver.
When William asked Adam who he should support, the commissioner diplomatically responded: “Both teams.”
